We’re excited to be deep in the process of revisiting and producing the 12 Inches of Sin art catalogs. Because these volumes span many years and iterations, the work has been thoughtful and deliberate—and worth the care.
Volumes I–IV were originally produced through our successful Kickstarter campaign, followed by Volume V in the same format. As the project has evolved, we are now reformatting earlier volumes to align with the structure and editorial rigor established in Volume VIII. This shift reflects a broader evolution in how 12 Inches of Sin operates today.
While Volumes I–VI were tied to physical exhibitions—where Best of Show artists received solo exhibitions—Sin City Gallery now operates in a kunsthalle model. Rather than maintaining a brick-and-mortar space, our focus is on elevating the work itself and providing meaningful, sustainable support for artists through publication, visibility, and recognition.
Moving forward, new 12 Inches of Sin catalogs will be available to view online for free, with the option to purchase a paperback edition through Amazon. Although we are not currently producing physical exhibitions, participation in the catalogs, invitations to future projects, and cash prizes for Best of Show artists remain central to our mission.
Our goal is to continue elevating the genre, expanding access, and fostering genuine connections between artists and patrons. Thank you to the artists, patrons, and supporters who continue to shape 12 Inches of Sin. Your trust, creativity, and engagement make this evolution possible.
Upward and onward.
