Donating Art

It has been an incredible honor to exhibit 12 Inches of Sin artists at Sin City Gallery. As the gallery no longer has a brick and mortar location, the gallery has been storing artworks on behalf of artists. For the past several years, the gallery has enjoyed connecting with artists to coordinate the return of their artwork; however, we are unable to continue to store art on behalf of our artists.

As per the terms and conditions of entering 12 I – VII, any artwork remaining with Sin City Gallery after one year of the exhibition is considered abandoned.  Moving forward to better support artists, 12 Inches of Sin / Sin City Gallery will no longer require the physical possession of art for exhibition. All exhibitions and future art catalogs will be made available online with free access.

12 and Sin City Gallery have been incredibly proud to have the Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (Sisters) as fiscal sponsor. A percentage of funds raised during 12 Inches of Sin have been donated to the nonprofit for their Sisters AIDS Drug Assistance Program (SADAP).  For this reason, all remaining artwork in Sin City Gallery’s possession will be given to the Sisters to raise funds for the SADAP program.   Please be advised that 12 Inches of Sin and Sin City Gallery will not receive any financial compensation for the transfer and donation of art to the Sisters.  We encourage artists to contact the Sisters to receive a charitable tax letter and/or recognition for the donation of their art.
